Twenty already? Feels like just yesterday you were stressing over Newsbytes deadlines and somehow still finding time for a matcha run in between. Watching you run that newsroom like it's second nature chase down every story and still show up for everyone around you is honestly kind of amazing. You make hard things look easy and I don't think you give yourself enough credit for that.
I hope this year gives you everything twenty is supposed to be. New songs that feel like they were written just for you. Matcha that's actually the right strength for once. Way more good days than hard ones. You deserve a year that's loud in all the right ways the same way your playlists always are.
However you're spending today I hope it's full of the people and little things that make you feel most like you. Here's to twenty. May it be your best one yet. I love you so much and I'm so lucky to have you. Happy birthday nik niks 🩷
